Jammu June 12: The students studying cluster University Jammu for various course opposes the decision of the University to hold the examination from 1-7-2020 during the pandemic when students had already rush to their homes.
As per the details available with Early Times, the decision that was taken by the Cluster University of Jammu regarding the conduct of examinations Semester 6th was totally arbitrary and not in the favour of students as a result of which all students of cluster university of Jammu and Kashmir Division are against this decision.
The students belonging to Chenab valley are totally against this decision because the students are facing many problems, particularly the students from District Ramban which is under Red zone.
The students of Chenab valley belong to the areas with no internet facilities and they are under Red zone like students from Dachann, Marwah, Padder, Ramban and Chatroo and even some students hastily went to home without any study materials, so it is not possible for them that they can appear in the examinations since they are not able to get any information regarding examination.
Speaking to Early Times, the students said that some students from these areas are under Quarantine, some facing traveling problems because of non availability of vehicles from Red zone areas.
“We the students of Chenab valley completely condemn this arbitrary decision taken by the cluster university of Jammu-so kindly look at this matter as soon as possible” said Sourab Bandhari.
Bhandari calls for immediate cancellation of the examination till the condition is conducive for the same.
Another student said that accommodation is the biggest problem for them at the time when even hotels are closed and urged upon the Vice Chancellor to reconsider the decision of holding the examination.
