Residents of Ward No 8, Akhnoor protest poor condition of lane, drains 6/12/2020 11:46:13 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT AKHNOOR, June 12: Residents of Ward No 8, Akhnoor held a protest against poor drainage system and worst condition of their street. Protesting locals said that the lane of their ward is in dilapidated condition while the drainage system is also pathetic, adding that about six months ago before corona pandemic the lane work was inaugurated by municipal ward member in the presence of all municipal committee employees and other members of Akhnoor Municipal Committee but only inauguration was done the drain work has not started yet by the contractor. They said that if the contractor who was allocate the work is not capable to do it then the job should be assigned to another contractor. The residents said that they are living in worst conditions due to problem of lane and drains.
