Competition on safer internet day held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar -Jammu conducted an online Inter–School “Essay Writing Competition” for class 6th students on “Safer Internet Day”. The aim of this competition was to promote the safe and positive use of “Digital Technology” by children and young people and to inspire them for a national conversation. The theme of the competition was to focus on “Internet influence on Adolescents”. Its knowledge helps us to remind that “Internet Security” is something that demands constant vigilance. It also reminds us that a lot of bad things can happen on the internet if we don’t follow appropriate precautions. All the three students of class 6th from various sister-concern schools of Shiksha Niketan, Shiksha Niketan Senoir Secondary School Jeevan Nagar, Shiksha Niketan Secondary School Gandhi Nagar and RM Public School chowadhi–Sainik Colony Jammu performed with keen interest and enthusiasm. This competition was adjudged by Suman Sharma English Lecturer of Unique Public Higher Secondary School Jammu. Amongst all of the three participants in this Essay Writing Competition, Ist position was bagged by Daiwik Gupta of class 6th A from RM Public School Jammu, 2nd Position was bagged by Ramleen Kour of class 6th I From SNS Jeevan Nagar and 3rd Position was bagged by Tejasvi Khajuria of 6th from Shiksha Niketan Secondary School Gandhi Nagar. The Principal of the School, Rameshwar Mengi appreciated the efforts of the concerned teachers for their initiative and guidance to prepare and inspire the students for expressing their thoughts and views through their creative writing skills. |
