Drug peddlers convicted for 10 years imprisonment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 23: Two accused got convicted for 10 years imprisonment and fine of Rs 1 lakh imposed in a NDPS case registered under Police Station Gangyal. In 2017 two accused namely Sanjeev Kumar and Dilawar Hassan got arrested for carrying commercial quantity of corex syrup. On this case FIR No. 43 of 2017 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered in Police Station Gangyal. After completing investigation in a highly professional manner, the case was brought in 2nd Additional Session court Jammu by IO. The investigation of the case was done in a very professional and meticulous way by team Police Station, Gangyal. The prosecution of the case was conducted by Suresh Kumar addl. public prosecutor Jammu painstakingly. Today final judgement was announced in which both the accused namely Sanjeev Kumar and Dilawar Hassan were convicted for ten years of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs.1 lakh imposed on them. We appreciate NGOs working for narcotics eradication and many prominent citizens who are contributing for the social cause and for their continuous support.
