Jammu, Mar 5: Shiksha Niketan, Hr. Sec. Jeevan Nagar organized a function in collaboration with G.S. Sports club on the topic ‘donate organs safe lives’. In this function the chief guest Deepak Digra SP South city Jammu was present. He talked about the importance of organ donation. Other dignitaries like Dr. S.L. Kachroo, Joint Director, state organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation; Chandan Dutta, Social Activist & Chairman Kotli Colony Welfare Trust; Dr. Arun Sharma, Medical Superintendant of super specialty hospital Jammu, Gaurav Gupta, Gen Sec. CCI and R.J. Vasudha TIkko, Red FM 91.9. They told the students about the significance of organ donation. They made students aware about illegal organ traders. At the end Principal Rameshwar Mengi also interacted with the students and shared his views on the topic.
