Shah Faesal objects posting of India's map without J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 5: After hailing vaccination programme of the Union Government, the bureaucrat turned politician Shah Faisal today countered 'Freedom House' for posting wrong map of India. 'Freedom House' today posted on social media regarding freedom in India. In the post the NGO also posted controversial map of India in which Jammu and Kashmir was missing. Shah Faisal reacted strongly on map posted by the organization. "The map that you are using is certainly not of India", Shah Faisal posted on the social media to counter "Freedom House". "Freedom House" is an organization claiming to be independent watchdog dedicated to the expansion of freedom around the world. The organization in its report claim that "India is not rated Free in Freedom in the world 2021". Notably earlier founder of the Jammu Kashmir Peoples’ Movement (JKPM), Shah Faesal has lavished all praise on the Union Government’s vaccination programme. “This is more than just a vaccination program. It's good governance + human capital formation + nation building + India assuming global leadership as a Jagat Guru”, Shah Faesal tweeted while reacting to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s tweet in which the PM has tweeted. As reported earlier Shah Faesal had launched the political party JKPM in March 2019 after quitting government service in January same year. The Union Government has not accepted his resignation yet and there is every likelihood of Faesal re-joining the administration. It is interesting to note that even after submitting his resignation and forming a political front, his name was not removed from the list of IAS officers in J&K. He had topped the 2010 civil services exam and was made a part of the J&K cadre of the IAS. |
