Srinagar, Mar 5: Security forces on Friday averted a major tragedy and recovered a live hand grenade near bus stand in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara. There was no attack on security force vehicle, a police spokesman said. He said a live grenade was found near bus stand Kupwara today. The area was sealed and the grenade was defused without causing any damage. Security forces later conducted searches in the area for some time. Life later returned to normal in the area, he said. |
