JAMMU, Mar 5: Sulabh International, Social Service Organization Jammu & Kashmir, organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on the eve of “51st Foundation Day” at Main Market Trikuta Nagar Jammu & Sabzi Mandi, Sainik Colony Jammu. On the occasion, the organization distributed cotton bags and masks among the people. The main valedictory function of “51st Foundation Day” held in the premises of Organization’s Headquarter at Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
The prominent who attended the programme were Narinder Singh Jamwal Chairman Health & Sanitation Jammu Municipal Corporation and Councillor Ward No. 70, Jyoti Devi Councillor Ward No. 53, Anil Kumar Singh Hony. Controller Sulabh International Social Service Organization (SISSO) Jammu & Kashmir & Anchal Singh Senior Editor Danik Jagran Newspaper. Speaking on the occasion, Narinder Singh Jamwal said that Sulabh has done a great job in the field of sanitation like Sulabh Shauchalyas & Public Toilets. By constructing toilets people can use it on pay & use basis due to which open defecation has stopped to greater extent.
