We have gifted and spread the knowledge of ayurveda and yoga in the entire world. Now the entire world is celebrating the international yoga day. Moreover the ayurveda is also playing its unique role in the medical science across the world. We can't underestimate and ignore the benefits and role of these two virtues in a health sector. The benefits of ayurvedic science is world recognized. In our past our ancestors had the deep understanding and knowledge of these two hidden precepts. Now in present scenario when the entire world is suffering from various types of health ailments and complications of allopathic medicines, we are gradually focussing on these two natural health caring sources.
But still due to frequent and cosmopolitan web of our allopathic medicines, we generally ignore the ayurveda. As these ayurvedic medicines takes some duration to cure the various health ailments in humans so we generally prefer the fast recovery medicines in our daily life. No doubt the recovery rate of ayurvedic medicines is somewhat slower than the allopathic medicines but the treatment of ayurvedic medicines is without any side effects and complications. In allopathic medicines we have seen lot of complications and side effects. Ayurvedic medicines and therapy is totally based on natural ingredients without any salt or harmful chemical combination. As we know our body responds to ayurveda in a very natural way without showing any allergic reactions and complications. On the other hand there are lot of allergic complications related with the use of allopathic treatment. No doubt for accidental and other emergency treatment of any body injury and treatment our allopathic medicines are beneficial because it gives fast relief to the patients and sufferer. But for life long health ailments and general diseases we can adopt ayurveda as a better alternative for patients treatment. During covid pandemic we have adopted various ayurvedic treatment to boost our immunity. And these booster doses of different ayurvedic medicines has played a unique role in this direction as well. But after the invention of covid vaccine now we look towards these ayurvedic booster doses in a very light mode. Even the IMA has challenged the contribution of ayurvedic products in the treatment of corona. Basically there is nothing wrong with ayurvedic medicines but there is a custom of professional competition and jealousy in our country. There is a common saying that two of a trade seldom agree and it fits beyond this rivalry. No doubt this is very unethical and unreasonable.we know that ayurveda is about 5000 years old science. In our past we generally performed various surgeries with this method. It is not wrong if we call the principles of ayurveda as immortal science. We know that any system as a whole can't fully cure every disease in the world. There is need of various collaborative techniques and treatments for the permanent cure of every health ailments. If we take ayurveda as an ancillary medical faculity in this direction then we can achieve our target in a more comfortable way similary yoga can play a very crucial role in treatment of various health ailments if we take this as an auxiliary mode of treatment. Millions of people got advantages in their life by practising various yogic asnas and excercise. Basically there is need to start an OPD of ayurveda in every health centres of our country. Only then we can give benefit to various suffering people across the country.
Merely practising yoga and ayurveda in our life in a entertaining way we can't get the full benefit of this hidden source of knowledge. All the limitations of ayurveda related to its education, research and practice are required to be identified urgently and must be removed on warfooting.only then we can give the proper recognition to this valuable knowledge.
