| Industrial visit- program enters 2nd Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 18: The ongoing program of Industrial visit being organised by National Council for Urban and rural develompent Society (NCURDS) on behalf of NCSTC, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, entered 2nd day today.
On the second day the students were taken to Malik Industries Bari Brahimna a unit of manufacturing of Fuel, Briquettes, Moulded Rubber Goods, Thermocol Packing, Block Mould, Sheet and Themocol Balls in addition to Amin Industries manufacturing unit of Sewaian and Noodles so as to expose the students to the latest applications of Science and technology.
Within Malik Industries the students got firsthand experience about latest machines used for different operations to manufacture different thermocol and plastic goods and packing items.
The students here got an opportunity to correlate the theoretical experience of the class room with the practical part about the working and principle lying behind polymerisation and recycling. Later the students visited Amin Industries where the students were exposed in a decent and coherent way to the working and functioning of food processing units. In different groups they first observed and experienced the processing of raw Material to Packing of Noodles and sewaian. |
