| Free medical check up camp organized | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 18: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Billawar and ISM Department organized a free Medical checkup camp for students and teachers.
The camp started with inaugural speech of the Principal, Prof. Anita Jamwal in which she stressed upon female health hygiene. Then a lecture was delivered by Dr. Sabita Thakur on female health issues. Team of doctors, Dr. Sabitya Thakur and Dr.Indu Bala and pharmacist, Pawan Sapolia from ISM Department under the supervision of Dr. Mohan Singh, Director of ISM and ADMO Dr. Ajay Tikko, conducted free consultations checkups in general health for students and teachers. In the camp 156 visitors were checked up. All visitors were also given free medicines. At the end Principal GDC Billawar presented vote of thanks to the staff of ISM Department.
Camp was organized by Assistant Prof. Yash Paul NSS PO and assisted by Assistant Prof. Raman Kumar and Assistant Prof Shiv Kumar Khajuria under the overall supervision of Principal, Prof Anita Jamwal. |
