| Congress resent change of nomenclature of Ambedkar Chowk | | |

JAMMU, Mar 18: Senior leaders of JKPCC have taken strong exception over the change of nomenclature of the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Chowk, by the BJP led Jammu Municipal Corporation and demanded immediate review of the decision.
In a joint statement senor leaders of JKPCC have taken serious note of the decision of the authorities without considering that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Ji was the architect of the Constitution and always remembered for his great contributions for the nation and the Indian society.
It is unfortunate that BJP led corporation and the Govt. has done this which amounts to insult to the father of the Constitution and hurting the sentiments of the people at large, in view of the historic role of Dr. Ambedkar Ji.
They demanded that the decision be immediately reviewed and reversed as a mark of respect to the great leader.
