RAJOURI, Mar 26: Counselling and Career Counselling Cell of Government Degree College Nowshera organized one day workshop on “General Orientation and Career Counseling’ for the students here, the other day.
A large number of students and the faculty members participated in the programme, which began with lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandhana. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal, was the chief guest, while Principal of the College, Dr. Surinder Kumar presided over the programme. The chief guest appreciated the college committee for organizing the interactive session for the students. He also emphasized on the importance of online marketing and digital knowledge in the present world. He also advised the students to make best use of their precious time and prepare for their competitive examinations along with their studies. Earlier, the College Principal formally welcomed the Chief Guest, Resource Persons and other Special Guests of the programme. He appraised the gathering about the various developmental projects which have been initiated like up-grading of sports ground, construction of canteen block, provision of drinking water, establishment of digital classrooms and browsing center
