GKBF organises its first Business Success Masterclass | | | eARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 26: Global Kashmiri Pandit Business Foundation (GKPBF) organised its first Business Success Masterclass for first batch of 20 Kashmiri Pandit startups, early stage and struggling entrepreneurs from Jammu and Jagati Township delivered by Vinod K. Pandita, one of the directors and India’s leading Business Coach. GKPBF Team after having meeting Lt. Governor and top officers at Raj Bhawan in November 2020 started its action of identifying and mentoring entrepreneurs on one side and mobilising global investors to invest in the qualified business ideas and also invest in JKUT under new industrial policy schemes. GKPBF is a not-for-profit organisation led by its seven directors who are industry experts from India, Canada, Australia and Thailand. GKPBF is working in new initiatives to nurture entrepreneurship and provide professional facilitation to bring investment in the Union Territory not only by Kashmiri Pandit businessmen across the globe but non- Kashmiri Pandits as well. . Vinod K. Pandita guided all participants during a two hour masterclass to design a scientific business success roadmap which covers developing an entrepreneur’s mindset, develop a business model, design and document systems & processes, capital restructuring, financial modelling, business planning, developing strategies for go to market and finally creating a pitch deck for attracting potential angel investors. He also discussed 10 failure-proof business principles, which made all participants introspect and design their businesses well. Participants went through a basic entrepreneurial test which was an eye opener for everyone for understanding their strengths and weaknesses for becoming a successful entrepreneur. The event was graced by Sh. Ranjan Thakur, Principal Secretary, Directorate of Industries as Guest of Honour and Ms Ankita Kar, MD-JKTPO. Sh Thakur inspired all participants with his success tips for building a successful enterprise and also made them aware of current initiatives by the government for startups and new businesses. He encouraged with his words of wisdom. Ms Ankita Kar also motivated all participants for taking entrepreneurship as a serious career choice and promised her support to guide and support any promising business idea and project report. Startups and early stage businesses led by Ankush Razdan, Isha Razdhan, Michael Dogra, Sushant D.K Bakshi, Founder Director from Thailand, Mr. Ravinder Kachroo, Director & CEO from Bengaluru and other directors at GKPBF sent their best wishes to all participants for their success. |
