| ADM seize JCB machines, Dumper truck used in illegal mining | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 6: Additional District Magistrate Doda (ADC), Kishori Lal Sharma along with Tehsildar Doda Shabir Ahmed Malik, while on road inspection of Doda Jodhpur Road found two JCB machines and one Dumper truck mining illegally near Jodhpur Nala.
As per the details available with Early Times, the drivers of the JCBs and Dumper when asked to produce documents, they failed to produce any valid permission, therefore the papers of two JCBs and One Dumper were seized on the spot by ADM Doda.
It is pertinent to mention here that district administration is continously recieving complaints from locals of illegal mining by mining Mafia.
The ADM has appealed people of Doda not to extract illegally and follow the law of the land. Illegal mining disturb the ecological balance of the area and is likely to life of the area. |
