JAMMU, Apr 15: The Indian Army on Thursday repatriated a civilian from Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir who inadvertently crossed over to this side of the border in Poonch district of J&K.
Defence spokesman here said that at about 1155 hrs on Thursday, Ghulam Qadir, son of Mohammad Din, resident of village Ghim in Nikial, (POJK), who crossed over to India on April 11, was handed over to Pakistan authorities on humanitarian grounds.
"The civilian was repatriated with gifts," he added. |
