| SCCU reaches out to needy for help | | |

Udhampur, June 6: During the corona crises to reach to the needy families for providing them relief and to augment the Government relief, the Senior Citizens’ Club (Registered) Udhampur (SCCU) has devised a strategy such as: ‘Identification’, to identify needy through its members, social media and other platforms. ‘Source Creating’: to identify and create a source for contribution and ‘Motivation/Inspiration’: To motivate and inspire to contribute for social causes and then ‘Distribution’ managed through social workers/peoples representatives. As a chain-link to this strategy, Club distributed essential commodities to the identified needy people of village Laddan Power House and adjoining area. Today’s relief was sponsored by Madan Lal Kailoo proprietor Kailoo Emporium Mukerjee Bazar Udhampur. While speaking to the media Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, President of the Club flanked by Raj Guru Gen-Secretary of Club, and Madan Lal Kailoo said the Club works on mission to help the needy believing that service to humanity is service to God. The Club appealed to the general public to come forward to help the needy. Those present on occasion include Kirpal Singh Rathore, Mohan Singh, Susheel Kumar and Romal Singh of the SCCU besides Sarpanch and Panchs of the area and prominent community members. |
