KPs protest for rights | | | Early Times report
Jammu, June 6: A strong protest was held by the Jagti tenement committee, Soan Kashmir Front J&K in Jagti township today under the leadership of its president Shadi Lal Pandita who said that inflation has made life difficult for relief holders while the relief holders are very worried. The government should increase the monthly cash assistance of Kashmiri migrant relief holders from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 as soon as possible. He said that a package of at least 5,000 posts should be announced for Kashmiri migrant youth who have matriculated and passed 11th with great difficulty due to deportation and poverty who do not appear in the merit lists. He said that such poor youth have been matriculated with great difficulty by their parents as they are very poor. He said that the 5,000 posts for such unemployed youth should be announced as soon as possible so that the lives of such poor families of unemployed youth can be saved. Pandita urged the government to give Jobs first in the house where no government job has been given by the government till today. He said that thousands of unemployed youth in our community who have got higher degrees and higher qualifications , therefore the government should announce a package of 15,000 jobs for such highly educated unemployed youth. |
