Kavinder reviews facilities at DRDO Covid Hospital
‘Others need to take a lesson, adopt strategy in emergency situations’

JAMMU, June 6: The former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Kavinder Gupta today visited DRDO’s newly established Covid Hospital and reviewed the facilities available in this health institution here today.
In-charge DRDO Covid Hospital Jammu, Col Bilani, under whose supervision the Covid Hospital was established, briefed the senior BJP leader about the functioning of the just established hospital. He appreciated Col Bilani for creating a world class facility in the shortest time.
Kavinder physically reviewed the functioning of the oxygen plant, air-conditioning plant, water supply system and the laboratory at the hospital that is equipped with the latest instruments. He expressed satisfaction over the proper functioning of all these essential units of the DRDO Hospital.
Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr Narender briefed the former Deputy Chief Minister about the medicare facilities being provided to patients at the DRDO hospital. Kavinder Gupta also interacted with the attendants and other staff members at the hospital.
After reviewing the facilities at the DRDO Covid Hospital, Kavinder Gupta said that this hospital should become a role model for others especially those dealing with the healthcare system as it was established in the shortest possible time.
Lauding the DRDO men for their relentless efforts, he said that one should take cue from the prestigious national organization and adopt the strategy used by DRDO in establishing hospitals in emergent situations like that of the ongoing pandemic.
Castigating the opposition parties for doing nothing except criticising, Kavinder asked them to learn a lesson from the relentless efforts of DRDO men. He asserted that the BJP Government stands committed to provide all sorts of facilities to the people of J&K amidst pandemic.
Others accompanying the former Deputy Chief Ministers were Ankush Gupta District General Secretary; Corporators Neeraj Lucky Puri and Parmod Kapahi besides Nayan Gupta Mandal General Secretary.
