JAMMU, June 6: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councilor Sharda Kumari today kick started blacktopping work at Mahasha Mohalla in Ward No 47.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated by Sharda Kumari in presence of Disttrict Secretary Vivek Patyal, Des Raj, Tarsem Lal, Sumit Bajrangi, Akshay Kumar, Jeet Kumar, Naam Dev, Mukesh Kumar, Shashli Devi, Mahesh Sharma and other prominent citizens of Ward 47.
The work was initiated by the Public Works Department in presence of AEE, JE and contractor. Later, Sharda along with AEE and JE also visited Ward 47and its surrounding localities, met with the locals, who put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes.
Sharda Kumari gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner.
She further added that development work going on at Mahasha Mohalla in Ward No 47 is already being completed at a fast pace with the cooperation of AEE and JE and also due to the support of the people of Mahasha Mohalla. The people thanked Sharda Kumari, AEE and JE for listening to the issues regarding developmental works whether it was lanes, drains or roads and for ensuring them that all the pending developmental work of the ward will be completed soon. |
