| Celebrations on World Environment Day at GDC Nagrota shows way ahead | | |

Jammu, Jun 10: World Environment Day celebrations began at GDC Nagrota on 5 June 2021. On the auspicious day Principal of the college Attar Singh Kotwal announced eco club of the college Sanrakshak with 92 students as its volunteer members. This club will play a vital role in designing environment protection in and around college premises.
An online oath ceremony was organised for the staff and students of the college where they pledged to protect the planet and move towards sustainable way of living. Students shared their pictures adopting eco habits and innovative ways of water conservation and waste management in their daily lives.
Speaking on closing ceremony of 5 days long celebrations today, Principal of the college Attar Singh Kotwal appreciated enthusiasm of the students and their sensitization towards the cause. He also encouraged them to practice environment protection as a way of life not one day celebration. Organising committee for the events includes Prof. Aanchal Sharma , Prof Dinesh Chib and Harmeet Kour. |
