Government employees ‘encroach’ forest land in Buffliaz | | | Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report
Poonch, June 10: Two government teachers have allegedly encroached upon the forest land in Buffliaz of Tehsil Surankote here. Buffliaz is the starting point of historical Mughal road, which has great significance as it connects to Kashmir region. Sources told Early Times that there are two government employees who were teachers in education department who have encroached upon forest land in Panaar Puli areas of Baffliaz block of tehsil Surankote. Locals alleged that these two persons have captured forest land and created problems for people who rear cattle and take them to Dhok but due to obstacles created by them, they have been difficulties. They said that they informed the matter with DFO Poonch Mohan Choudhary regarding this, who immediately sent a team to investigate the matter, which find it true that the land captured by these two employees, is belong to forest department. The locals have appealed to Deputy Commissioner Poonch and other concerned authorities to stop the said Illegal encroachment at earliest nevertheless these tactful persons can grab whole government land. DFO Poonch has assured for stern action into the matter at earliest. |
