CWA raises public problems, share with authorities | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jun 10: President Consumer Welfare Association Jammu today held a virtual meeting of its members under its president Chander Prakash Sharma and collected the lists of problems and suggestions which are being faced by the general public/consumers and raised it with the concerned authorities. The problems included irrational rates charged by pathological labs for various tests while the administration fixed some rates but some labs don’t entertain and refuse to take tests with some other excuses. Weight of school bags for students of different classes should be regulated as per directions of Government of India. Unscheduled power cuts to be avoided as the supply lines are substandard and can't carry the loads at present situation with the result whole Jammu city including all so called posh colony are in hue and cry. There should be proactive measure to avoid such situations and the receiving stations should be commissioned before the scorching heat are postponed due to non co-operations between the two departments. Therefore, the association demanded from Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to give some relief to the residents of J&K UT at the earliest and issue time bound directions to concerned authorities. |
