Jammu, June 10: Natrang’s National Theatre Talk Show, ‘Young Voices of Theatre’ featured a resolute theatre practitioner, Theatre and TV Actor/Director Ravi Mohan from Haryana today who shared his inspirational thoughts with the global audience at the Facebook page of Natrang Jammu. Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur informed that because of its content and reputation of the guest speakers, this talk show is being talked amongst the art circles at National level and many stalwarts of Indian Theatre have complimented Natrang for this praiseworthy initiative even during the Corona crisis. Ravi Mohan is a renowned actor, director and trainer who is associated with theatre and media for the last more than two decades. His theatrical journey carries the experience of more than twenty plays in lead roles. Artistic director of ‘Ras Kala Manch’, Ravi has directed more than forty plays and conducted theatre workshops for different institutions. He was conferred with best director award in 2006 for the play “Nagmandala” at Pune and in 2011 at Amritsar for the play “Ghasi Ram Kotwal”. He has been bestowed Junior Fellowship in 2012 by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Rang Guru of theatre repertory ‘Ras Kala Manch’, Safidon, Ravi Mohan is the organizer of prestigious ‘Chalo Theatre National Theatre Festival’ which is running successfully since a decade and ‘Ras Rang Award Ceremony’. During the last 25 years of his theatre practice, he has worked under the guidance of famous theatre directors of the country including Dolly Ahluwalia and Kamal Tiwari. He has also appeared in many TV serials like ‘Crime Patrol’ on Sony TV, ‘Aur Ek Kahani’ on DD National, ‘Mahara Haryana Mahari Baat’ and ‘Sabrang’ etc. Natrang’s creative team which is managing this national event includes Neeraj Kant, Anil Tickoo, Sumeet Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta.
, Vikrant Sharma, Mohd Yaseen, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Gauri Thakur and Chander Shekhar. Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Yuva Bismillah Khan Awardee Gaurav Sharma would be featured in this talk show on 11th of June, 2021.
