Udhampur, June 10: The National Vice president of IGM has taken up the matter with Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir for extension of date for filing of forms of the paramedical entrance test on the request of educated youth. The Board of professional examination of Jammu and Kashmir had invited the application for admission to various para-medical training course having the basic qualifications of Matric (10th class) and twelfth class (10+2) passed from any recognized institute in the month of May 2021 but aspirants residing in the far-flung area like Marwa, dachan, Gulabghar, MachidI,Lohi Malhar,Kupwara, Tangdhar, Uri, Guraz, the border area of Nowshera, Mehander, Tite-wal, failed to file the form for entrance test due to lockdown and prevailing COVID situation. These aspirants approached the BOPE for an extension of last date for filing of forms for the training of these courses but authorities of BOPE are not willing to extend the date “, said Rashid Azam Inqlabi adding that if the BOPE goes by its previous advertisement even then they cannot finalize the selection list, because , they have to wait for the result of 10+2 to be declared by CBSE and J & K Board of school education .National level for the entrance of NEET examination the competent authority has not invited the application for entrance test even today, which will be invited after the examination/result of 10+2 classes but BOPE is willing to give the chance to aspirants of far flung area to appears in the test “, he maintained “We appeal to LG Manoj Sinha to intervene into the matter in the interest of Youth of Jammu & Kashmir and instruct higher ups concern authorities for extending the date of filing of forms for para medical courses , entrance test of which will be conducted in upcoming July - August 2021”, he added
