| Congress expresses dissatisfaction over denial of security to leaders | | |

JAMMU, June 10: Congress party has expressed dissatisfaction over the security cover provided by the UT administration to the various senior leaders of the opposition parties in Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing media persons here today, Congress leaders led by Varun Magotra cautioned the security agencies about the poor and weak security cover provided to senior Congress leaders and ex ministers. Magotra criticized the security agencies for not providing security to former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand. He said that Chand was denied the security by the police officers on emergency visit to Ludhiana for medical treatment. Magotra lambasted the UT administration for extended causal approach to leaders of opposition parties in providing security and even accommodation in safer places to the leaders of Congress party. |
