| Plus Two Lecturers' Forum hails Promotion of CEOs, demands expediting other issues | | |

Jammu, June 10: Central executive body meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum was held under the leadership of its president Deepak Sharma in virtual mode in which he hailed release of promotion list of CEOs and equivalents and redressal of other issues. Sharma said that Forum has been demanding redressal of their grievances through petitions, humble submissions and memoranda of demands from time to time to those at helm of affairs since long but things were moving at snail’s pace and they got only false promises in return. “We are fortunate enough that many of the issues have been resolved under the dynamic stewardship of Principal Secretary School Education Department, B K Singh. The Forum hails the principal secretary and expresses sincere gratitude for promotion of CEOs and equivalent, regularisation of Principals pending since Jan 2008 and placement of 1700 senior lecturers pending since December 2013 in a time bound manner,” said Sharma.
He hoped that as promised by the Secretary, practical shape will soon be given to most burning issue of ACP/ Time Bound Promotion on the analogy of other gazetted counterparts of J&K recruited at pay level-9 and Induction Quota into KAS in favour of Plus Two Lecturers as already demanded till the creation of Education Administrative Service (EAS) from officers/ Academicians exclusively drawn from the school Education Department will also be taken on priority. |
