| Ware House traders perform Havan to ward-off COVID-19 | | |

Jammu, June 10: Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market today performed Havan Yagya amid recitation of Gayatri Mantra to ward off the COVID-19 pandemic. Pandit Kuldeep Shastri from Baglamukhi Mandir Himachal Pradesh performed this Havan Yagya.
Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu on this occasion said that people in India used to perform Havans since the ancient times to purify the atmosphere. Gupta said that he has undaunted faith that the Havan will eliminate the dreaded corona virus from the vicinity.
Pandit Kuldeep Shastri said that havan or yagya is a ritualistic practice of Indian tradition or purification of mind and soul.
The process of worshiping God by means of fire in the Kund is called yajna. Our ancient texts are full of legends, wherein ancient sages performed yagyas and the demons (asuras) tried to destroy them.
He said that yagya can prove to destroy coronavirus, which currently is consuming precious human lives across the world. |
