| Chuni apprises Div Com Jammu about PoJK DPs’ plight & pangs | | |

Jammu, June 10: A deputation of S. O. S. International – An Organization for PoK Displaced Persons led by its chairman Rajiv Chuni today met Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Raghav Langer and discussed about several problems being faced by the PoJK DPs in every aspects.
Chuni while apprising the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu said that with the bifurcation of posts of the ex-officio Provincial Rehabilitation Officer from the post of Custodian Jammu has created enormous problems for the members of PoJK DPs who are aspiring for the documents related to the office of the Provincial Rehabilitation Officer Jammu. He said that members of PoJK DPs, while obtaining the domicile or other certificates related to them from the issuing authorities, the basic requisitions are needed included the Form-A, Form-D, Nominal Roll and Loan Ledger but in the absence of the Provincial Rehabilitation Officer from the supposed office of Custodian, the applicants are in morass and they have no other option except to quit their plan.
Chuni said the Government of India has appointed the Divisional Commissioner Jammu as Nodal Officer to monitor the relief distributing process and others issue confronting to PoJK DPs and it is the responsibility of sitting Div Com to review the distribution process so that it may be boosted and all the impediments halting the scheme should be removed. |
