Kathua, Jun 12: Bicycle For Change Club, Kathua organised a short ride of 30 kms on the eve of International day against Child Labour to sensitize people about Rights of Children and help Children in securing their childhood.
In today’s ride, Our fellow cyclists namely Maninder Singh, Rahul Sharma, Deep Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Sumit Samybal, Sukhpreet Singh,Nikhil and others participated with full enthusiasm.
This cycle ride started from Captain Sunil Choudhary Chowk by taking into consideration all prevalent SOPs of Covid-19.and passed through Shastrinagar, Hatlimorh,Lakhhanpur,Dhanna,Basantpur,Barni and finished at Captain S. C Chowk.
While addressing media, Maninder Singh Sr. cyclist of BFCC said that the main objective of celebrating this event is to aware masses about importance of safeguarding childhood and to encourage people to help stop this malpractice prevalent in the society.
In addition to this, sr. cyclist advocate Rahul Sharma appealed citizens of Kathua to help destitute children around them in securing education and report child labour or any other child related abuse to concerned authorities.
