| YCET organizes webinar on Angel Investment | | |

Jammu, Jun 12: The Department of Civil Engineering of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology ( YCET ) under IIC Cell ( Institution’s Innovation Council - A MHRD, Govt. of India Initiative ) organized a webinar on Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunities" for early stage enterpreneurs for the students of civil engineering.
The quest of technologically aware student was further cultivated by Civil Engineering Department, YCET.
The webinar started with the formal welcome address by Er. Dinesh Gupta, President IIC Cell of YCET. The webinar was addressed by Dr. Shobna Poddar, Vice President of IIC Cell of OM Sterling Global University, Hissar, Haryana.
She is also Dean Corporate Relations Training and Development. This webinar focused on getting funds for the business which is not a walk in the park, especially when someone is just starting. But in order to keep a business dream alive, one needs capital.
Depending on the stage of business, one might seek funding from a venture capitalist (VC) or angel investor.
Both venture capitalists and angel investors are people who invest money into businesses. Angel investors and VCs both take calculated risks when investing with the hopes of earning a healthy return on investment.
The students were fortunate that they got the chance to attend this webinar for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert from the concerned field. At the end Er. Kamal Kishore thanked the eminent speaker Dr. Shobna Poddar.
