| 5 vehicles seized for illegal mining, transportation of construction material | | | Early Times Report
Samba, June 12: In continuation to its drive against illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material, Samba Police today seized 5 vehicles including 1 tipper, 2 dumper and 2 JCBs in the jurisdiction of PS Bari Brahmana & PS Vijaypur. A Police team of PS Bari Brahmana while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, seized 1 JCB bearing Regd.No. JK21E-1180 and 1 Tipper Regd. No. JK21-7768 used for illegal transportation/mining of construction material.
In another similar incident, a Police team of PS Vijaypur while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, seized 1 JCB without Regd No. & 2 dumpers bearing Regd No JK14E-9298 & JK02CN-7703 which were used for illegal transportation/mining of construction material.
All the 5 vehicles were seized by Samba Police in the above mentioned incidents and have been handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action. |
