JKATA welcomes DPC committee meeting, demands early merger of cadres | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 12: A virtual meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrat Association working Committee was held today on under the chairmanship of Singh and President Vinod Sharma with members of the working Committee. In the virtual meeting the members welcomed the meetings of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held on 10th of June 2021 at Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu to promote AEAS of Jammu Division into JAEOs. The JKATA Working Committee as already in High Court seeking the State level Seniority of AEAS and now matter is referred to Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Jammu bench with direction to dispose the matter with in six months time or earlier. JKATA working Committee hope that DPC Committee agenda as per aspirations of AEAS demand that is based on SRO 732 which clearly reflected that JAEO is state cadres post and the DPC is only valid when it will be conducted by reframing of combine seniority of both division. The JKATA Working Committee also framed a letter of request to Director Agriculture, Jammu to place upcoming Junior Agriculture Extension Officer in the panchayats comprising circles where the Agriculture Extension Assistants are not available and that will reduce the double reporting to the superiors and also cover all the panchayats of Jammu Division with Technical expertise. The Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrat Association working Committee also mailed a memorandum to Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production Department Naveen Kumar Choudhry through proper channel to implement the report of committee constituted vide Govt order No 150-JK(AGRI) of 2020 dated 07.08.2020 under the chairmanship of Director command Area Development so that the burning demand of merger of cadres of Agriculture Extension Assistant (AEAS) and Junior Agriculture Extension officer (JAEO S) can be full filled. Those who attended the virtual meeting Vice president Harmeet Singh, Raj Bamral, Subdesh Khajuria, Shakti Sharma, Satvinder Singh, Amit Kumar Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Narinder Singh, Sanjay Razdan and media secretary Ramandeep Singh. |
