DODA, July 1: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today reviewed the physical progress of under construction Government Medical College campus here at a meeting.
The DDC held threadbare discussion on the latest position with regard to tendering of a separate water supply scheme and creation of a separate receiving station for the GMC and other critical components of GMC campus.
The DDC directed the Ex En PHE to float fresh tender for the creation of a separate water supply scheme. He suggested offering reasonable hand holding so that the project was allotted and executed successfully this time without any further delay.
With regard to creation of a separate receiving station, the Ex En PWD apprised the DDC that tender for land levelling and other allied works have already been floated and it shall be allotted as soon as funds were made available. Besides, Ex En STD apprised that till the land is not developed at the site the work cannot be executed.
