| Substandard material used in blacktopping of Sathra to Chandak road | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, July 01: Although the union government is claiming for fare administrative set-up in nation but these claims are looking castle of sand in air in Poonch district. As per sources the work of black toping on Sathra to Chandak road is going on and the contractor is allegedly using substandard material in the work, work is not going on properly, the layers of blacktopping have been uprooted before the completion of the work.
A local said the contractor is belonging to ruling political party and has influence on administration, it is because he is not doing standard work.
Locals of block Sathra and Mandi have appealed Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to stop the payment of the contractor and investigate the matter through different authorities.
Executive Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Department Parvaiz said that when any complaint id lodged with him he’ll take action. |
