Early Times Report

UDHAMPUR, July 1: Finding scope after advertisement of large number of class IV posts by JKSSB, the highly qualified youth faced a setback and confusion regarding the eligibility after which they moved to General Administration Department (GAD) to address their issues through Grievance Cell and were given green signal resulting which they filled up their application forms and cores of revenue generated by JKSSB.
They participated in an open competition and the provisional lists was published by JKSSB but now a clause was introduced in the provisional list which was not there in the advertisement that the selected candidates need to submit an affidavit mentioning that they does not possess higher qualification and if JKSSB came to know about the higher qualification of candidate then the selected candidates will be terminated.
“All previous class IV recruitments were made on the basis of SRO 99 of 2008, in these recruitments highly qualified youth were also selected and are presently working in different department, but these particular selected candidates are facing discrimination even after approval received from GAD at the time of form filling,” said Arun Kumar. “The high qualified youth include many candidates who are at the verge of getting over-age and have left their private school jobs just to qualify the class IV examination and their name in provisional list so that they and their families can make two ends meet,” Munish Gupta another youth said. “Even some candidates as such who have secured less percentage in their graduation which makes them ineligible to apply for any graduate level post and for Class IV were considered over qualified which is a mental trauma for them,” he added Many candidates said that they are moving from pillar to post to get justice but get nothing.
