DDC chairman pays rich tributes to Kargil martyr Bhau | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 1: The unmatched grit, valour and dedication of Kargil war martyr Daler Singh Bhau who fought till his last breathe to defend the motherland in 1999 will be remembered till eternity. This was stated by DDC Chairman Jammu Bharat Bhushan Bodhi along with Vice Chairman Suraj Singh Bhau while paying floral tributes to the Kargil martyr here on Thursday. The DDC Chairman said that the sacrifice of D S Bhau will be remembered by the country in all ages to come. He said that the braveheart fought for the pride of the nation and will always be remembered by the countrymen. Asserting that contribution of martyrs like the gallant D S Bhau in protecting the borders is unmatched, he saluted the valour of the soldiers for defending the nation and coming out victorious and giving a befitting defeat to the enemy for its evil designs in Kargil. Meanwhile, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi also kick-started macadamization work of road connecting Mishriwala to Jhiri, the project which was languishing since long. The aforesaid project with estimated cost of Rs 1.49 crore holds much significance as the terminal point of Jhiri village is famous destination for devotees. While inaugurating the work, Bharat Bhushan said that no compromise will be made on development of the area as government is keen to fulfill the aspirations of the people who were suffering due to lack of interests of the successive governments which laid focus only on satiating their vested interests. Others who were present include Ashok Kerni Mandal Pradhan, Ankit, Kulwant Singh, Chuni Lal Sharma, and Sarpanch Mishriwala Pallavi Verma. |
