EARLY TIMES REPORT

SAMBA, July 1: The public of villages Talab Data, Butchery and Rajpur Kaulad of District Samba protested outside the office of XEN PHE Samba under the leadership of JKNPP senior leaders Rajesh Pargotra and Khajoor Singh Ex-Sarpanch Bagla Rahya demanding the immediate restoration of drinking water supply at the villages for which the public has been suffering for the last one month.
Rajesh Pargotra emphasized upon XEn PHE for what fault the public has been deprived of essential services like water and also urged upon him and necessitated to visit the site today without failure and mitigate the problems of the public in scorching mercury?
Pargotra also reminded the administration that it is the duty of the chair (XEn PHE Samba) to take a cognizance of the erring subordinates who so ever it is.
Pargotra also reiterated that the Lt Governor of UT Jammu & Kashmir had, in the interest of public stated that the concerned officers of the essential services will be booked for punitive action and thereby he asked Lt Governor what punitive and deterrent punishment has been given to the officers of PHE Bari Brahmana when the public has been demanding for water since one month through protest demonstration and personal meet like today?
He further stated that XEN had promised to make a personal visit of the site to make amends and now the protesters are hoping for a positive action.
He warned that a protest dharna will be staged at Governor’s House Jammu with hundreds of men and women.
