JKCCA’s International Art exhibition concludes

JAMMU, July 1: 9th International Art Exhibition (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) Jammu, dedicated to the Front Line Warriors of Covid-19 Pandemic, concluded today. The exhibition was inaugurated on 6th June, 2021. According to O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, ‘JKCCA has made efforts to organize 9th International Art Exhibition (Online), to pay rich tributes to the Front Line Warriors who are working day & night for the wellness of the people of the whole world.’ He added that there is no lack in the process of creative arts. The artists are refreshing the atmosphere with their creative endeavours. The exhibition was composed of two segments viz Invitees’ Section and Artists’ Section. In the invitees’ section the art works of V S Rahi and Dr A K Dixit, New Delhi, N D Jamwal, Gokel Dembi, M A Mehboob and Jang S Verman, J&K, Prof Sunil Saxena, Prof (Dr) Saroj Rani and Dr. Rekha Kakkar, UP, Ashok Gupta, UA, Bandana Nath, Assam, Neena Singh, MR, G Y Gari, AP, and Fareha Zeba and Mini Karim, Bangla Desh were displayed. There were total of a hundred artists from different countries of the world, including the works of artists of Jammu & Kashmir, like Jasleen Singh, Amrit Kaur, Ashok Mehra, Santosh Tiku, Bodh Raj Baldhotra, Archana Choudhary, Sireesha Srinivas, Madhavi Sharma, Jammu, O P Sharma, Kamal Nain Bhan, Isha Sharma, Deepa Soni, Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Sanjogita Dogra, Shivani Bhat Koul, Sukhwinder Kaur, Rekha Sharma, and Rajwinder Kaur, Tariq Saifi, Shiekh Ghulam Rasool, Aslam Naqishbandi, Masood Tabish, Rouf Qyasi and Kaunain Zubair. The 9th International Art Exhibition (online) was curated by O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA.
