JAMMU, July 1: Following Uttar Pradesh, Shri Ram Sena, Jammu and Kashmir President Rajiv Mahajan urged Lt Government Manoj Sinha, like others development initiatives, should implement a two child policy for availing govt jobs in J&K. “Implement two-child policy in J&K in order to deny access to government jobs, subsidies, and certain rights to those with more than two children,” Rajiv Mahajan said in a statement here on Thursday. “In the future, two-child policy will be taken into account as eligibility for govt jobs,” he added. He also said that government employees should give an undertaking that they will not procreate more than two children. Mahajan also suggested that the government must give preference to applicants with two or less than two living children. Meanwhile, criticizing the government for the recent decision on Darbar Move employees, Rajiv Mahajan said this step will create more suffering to Jammuites as they will face great hardship in trade, transport and other sectors. |
