GDC Nagrota organised essay writing competition

JAMMU, July 18: As a part of Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav GDC Nagrota organised an essay writing competition in regional languages on the topic Drugs and Youth of India.
Students participated enthusiastically and shared their ideas in 3 languages Urdu, Punjabi and Dogri. This competition aimed at promoting the use of regional languages among youth and also spreading awareness about menace of drugs. Essays of Mehak Singh in Punjabi, Hanira Kousar in Urdu and Tania Verma in Dogri were adjuged best. Principal of the College Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal appreciated the efforts of Nasha Mukt Committee of the college for organising this competition.
Members of committee includes Dr. Neetu Singh, Dr. Desh Bandhu Sharma, Dr. Ritu Dewan, Prof. Aanchal Sharma and Prof. Dinesh Singh Chib.
