Three absconders arrested after 32 years

REASI, Aug 11: Police claimed to have arrested three absconders who have been evading arrests since years.
Team of Reasi Police arrested two absconding criminals after 32 years after commission of crime and warrant issued against them by court of JMIC Reasi.
Case FIR no 88/1989 U/S 332, 382, 148, 149, 224, 225 RPC registered against Toshi @Darshan Lal and Gud @Yashpal S's/O Qumar Din @Ram Saran on 19/6/89. Case was proved and challaned against the accused. To avoid conviction they jumped trial proceedings and couldn't be arrested till now. Against them General Warrant of Arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued. Teams of Reasi Police developed the information and after hectic efforts arrested them from Jammu.
Team of Reasi Police arrested absconding criminal Abdul Kareem S/O Musa R/O Kansi-Patta after 7 years, who jumped parole and absconded in a case of 2014. In this regards case FIR no 110/2015 U/S 223/224 RPC of Police Station Reasi. Offense was proved and final report was produced in the court of law against the accused person. To avoid conviction accused jumped trial proceedings and a General Warrent of Arrest US 512 CrPC was issued by Hon'ble court of JMIC Reasi on 04/02/2020.
Pertinently a rape case FIR no 123/2014 US 498 A 376, 323, 147 RPC registered against the accused in 2014 in Police Station Reasi and produced in court of law on 22/12/14. To avoid conviction he jumped trial proceedings by parole and went underground.
Accused Kareem is a habitual offender and also wanted in a attempt to Rape case FiR no 07/2021 US 376/511/354/342/147/323 IPC of police station Reasi, in which he evaded arrest since the reporting of crime against him. He is driver by profession and remained in Kashmir valley and Ladakh.
