| GGM Science college organizes plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 11: NSS unit of GGM Science College today adopted NSS park as the govt. initiative for planting more and more trees under "Tree plantation drive".
NSS Volunteers actively cleaned the area, made pits and planted more than thirty plants like Aloe vera ,snake palm, Areca palm, sada bahar, lily etc and making boundaries of parks by plantation.
The volunteers participated in the drive enthusiastically and helped each other in planting the saplings. They along with their NSS PO took an oath to look after the planted saplings, plant more and more trees and encourage others to do the same. The campaign's main aim was to invole volunteers's in constructive activities with the positive outcome through the facilitation of contributing to the society especially during this pandemic. The whole event was carried in support of beautification committee Convenor Prof. Bimla Devi and Dr. Babita Mahajan. NSS volunteers sartik neeru tanisha shaku sajal aaghav samar tushar ritik made it successful through their efforts. In the week long Independence day celebration. |
