| GDC Khour organizes webinar | | |  Early Times Report
KHOUR, Aug 11: Govt. Degree College Khour organized an online lecture on the theme "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to celebrate 75 Years of Independence.
Dr Nansi P, Assistant Professor, Loyala College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu was the resource person. She made the students familiar with Tamil culture and Traditions through her lecture. She also highlighted the commonalities between different cultures while focusing on Tamil literature & Folklore. The event further promoted the spirit of National Integration and showcases the rich heritage and culture of our country.
The programme was organized by Prof. Gurvinder Kour, HOD Political Science and Prof. Arun Sharma, HOD History under the guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College. More than fifty students and staff members actively participated in this online interactive session. The Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the organizers and also thanked the resource person for sparing her valuable time for the informative deliberation on the topic. |
