1/6/2022 10:31:50 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 6: Highlighting the problems of unemployed Dental Surgeons of J&K UT, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that it is very unfortunate that for last 14 years no Dental Surgeon has been recruited in J&K Medical Deptt, inspite of the fact that the unemployed dental surgeons are protesting for their recruitment for the last several years.
Addressing a press conference here today, Core Committee member AAP Jammu province, Ravi Shastri said that Govt has failed to provide employment to Dental Surgeons and have made only false promises to them, adding that whereas Govt has advertised the post of other streams such as MBBS, BAMS and BHMS but not for dental surgeons.
Shastri demanded that all unemployed dental surgeons may be absorbed through JKPSC and other centrally sponsored schemes, to frame a regular policy about recruitment of Dental Surgeons every year based on the number of seats at UG level in JKUT, to form separate Directorate of Dentistry and one time age relaxation for overage candidates.
He assured the protesting dental surgeons that Aam Adami Party is always with them for their genuine demands time to time and will fight for their cause till their goal is achieved. Shastri also warned the J&K UT Govt and demanded the immediate action for the recruitment of unemployed dental surgeons. In case the action is not taken within a week's time, Aam Aadmi Party will organize a protest against LG Govt.
Those who were present in the press conference included Incharge IT Cell J&K AAP Harpreet Singh, Dr Rahul President DSA-JK, Dr Vasu Joint Sec DSA-JK, Dr Aman Joint Sec DSA-JK, Dr Pallavi Spokesperson DSA-JK, Dr Dimple Coordinator DSA-JK and others.
