JAMMU, Jan 16: 2 J&K Girls Bn NCC wing of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar celebrated National Youth Festival under the patronage of Dr. Sangita Nagari, the Principal of the College, to pay tribute to Swami Vivekananda, his thoughts and ideas to lead a simple life with high thinking.
83 cadets paid homage through various activities organized during this 5 day programme activities like poster making, digital post card making, yoga and meditation to channelize the energy of youth.
Essay writing was organized to express their views about contribution of youth in making of a nation while a symposium was held where they deliberated on the thoughts of such a Colossal figure formed the core of celebrations .
The entire programme was coordinated by the 2nd and 3rd year cadets under the guidance of Lt. Suman Bala, Associate NCC Officer of the College.
