| Dirty Niki Nehar punctures Smart City claims | | |

Jammu, Jan 16: The Nikki Nehar in Talab Tillo area remaining unclean punctures the tall claims about Jammu being developed as a Smart City. “We haven’t seen anyone from Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) coming forward to clean Nikki Nehar. It’s filled with garbage and has turned into a drain,” locals said.
They said, “The government is spending crores on development and on taking measures to keep Jammu clean but someone needs to ask the helmsmen, is this cleanliness and the development they are talking about?”
They said that besides giving facelift to Jammu city the administration needs to pay attention towards keeping the city clean. “Jammu cannot become a Smart City till cleanliness is maintained and proper attention is paid towards maintaining cleanliness,” they added. |
