Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 27: People's Hut Foundation distributed clothes and masks to several underprivileged families in Jammu. Wrapped in good clothes, most of us do not even have any idea about how millions of individuals and families living under reduced circumstances are making the arrangements of basic requirements to survive. The aid was given to more than 126 families of shelter homes and slum clusters where 1100 Clothes were distributed, the PHF team informed.
Through our Clothes distribution drives, we have distributed thousands of clothes to the underprivileged. The pleasure in fulfilling the basic requirement of people carries a different feeling that cannot be explained in words. Homeless people mostly reside in slum areas by constructing shacks and wooden houses with available materials. They do not have clothes to cover their body, and they spend their winter without a blanket. And that is the reason behind the death of thousands of people every year in the winter season. Whenever we visit such places with our volunteers, we get a question in our mind that it is not our responsibility to assist such poor and needy people in living a life full of hope and opportunities. In each shack, we come across abandoned people living a hopeless life, and we are endeavouring to bring some shadows of hope in their lives.
Core Team and Adv. Board Member Vikas Koul said People's Hut Foundation donates clothes among the needy and also requests the society to come forward to help the poor and the needy, if all of us decide to donate something for this good cause, a lot can be done to alleviate their suffering. He appealed to more people to come forward and generously work for the poor people, He added we are also serving food with nutritional value through our 'Feed the Hungry Program" and trying to reach out to the maximum number of hungry ones. If you are looking forward to donating any item, please reach our volunteer proactively working at People's Hut Foundation or you can also get in touch with us through our social media handles
