Jammu, Jan 28: Extending a helping hand, Army shifted a pregnant lady to the hospital in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Defence spokesman here on Friday said that last night Indian Army received a distress call from border area village Tuglu, Noorkote of District Poonch, for medical assistance to Rukhsana Kausher, who was in labor pain.
"Army troops responded promptly and with the help of locals, the lady was evacuated to nearest road head and further to nearest civil Hospital," said the spokesman. |
