Kishtwar, Jan 28: In a major boost to peace initiative and change of winds, the father of active terrorist Riaz Ahmed Lone on Wednesday unfurl National Flag in Renie village of Marwah on the eve of 73rd Republic Day Function which was organised by the local people of the area.
As per the details available with Early Times, 61 year old Mohammad Ramzan Lone, father of terrorist Riaz Ahmed unfurl the flag and sung the national anthem along with local people who overwhelmingly participated in the function in which the close relatives of the Hizb commander who is active in the area since last nearly 14 years also participated.
The function beside prominent citizens was also attended by the officials from nearby army unit who took by surprise after the father of the active militant not only attended the function, but also lead at the front to desire to unfurl the National flag.
Speaking to Early Times, senior police and army officials term the development as a big success that gives clear message to the Pakistan and its proxies who wants to destabilize the peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
“People now understand that nothing has left in this so called army struggle that has only given bloodshed and ruin the lives of innocent people” said an official who is not authorised to speak to media.
It is pertinent to mention that only few weeks ago kin of longest surviving Hizb militant Jahinger Saroori appeal his uncle to surrender and join the mainstream and become the part of peace initiative in Jammu and Kashmir.
